Hi, my name is Darren “Ello” Ellis, and I am the primary designer at Ello. Ello is a small design studio based in the beautiful mountains of the West Kootenays in British Columbia. Our design aesthetic is simple, clean, clear design that smartly blends contemporary and timeless. As the primary designer, I am tasked with everything from strategy, design, website development and project management. Working on every aspect of a project allows me to be more creative and has honed my skills in communication and organization. Clear communication throughout a project and understanding a client’s needs and goals are crucial to every successful design project. My favourite projects involve logo design and branding. Still, I appreciate all areas of design, from crafting a responsive website to fine-tuning a business card layout. At Ello, we value building long-lasting partnerships with our clients.
